Exercise Solutions To Your Energy Problems

Want to boost your energy levels with just a few minutes worth of work a day? Exercise is the answer you've been looking for. Working your body regularly will help you feel more energized. Studies also show that exercise helps you have a more restful sleep and fall asleep faster, leaving you pumped up and ready to go by morning.

The key is to exercise when you feel tired. Now most tired people do not want to go out and exercise, but if you push yourself to do even 20 minutes of light exercise you'll walk away feeling more awake and energized than you were before and will be able to carry that with you all day.

In general, it is best to exercise 3-5 times a week, incorporating cardio along with light lifting or a calming activity such as yoga (To learn more about the benefits of Yoga see Yoga for Energy). This is what most experts will usually recommend and is probably the healthiest choice. If you are interested in learning how to maximize your workout see our Exercise Equipment and Guides.

However some of you out there just don't have time do do this. You work a full time job, pick the kids up from school, drop the kids off at practice, cook dinner, clean house and amidst all of this you're supposed to find time to exercise for a full 30 minutes, 3-5 days a week? Sometimes, this simply cannot be done, but there is a solution. You won't drop 6 dress sizes, but you will boost your energy levels throughout the day. If you are interested in dropping a few dress sizes see our Weight Loss for Energy.

The key, take 15-20 minutes during the day to do light exercise. During your lunch, walk around the block, or up and down stairs, mow the lawn on the weekend, work in the yard, even 15 minutes of yoga can help. Pick a time everyday when you will perform your exercise and try to do it 4 times a week. Don't skip more than one day a week and you'll form the habit easier and feel energized longer.
